Today on Young and Restless, Amanda offers to speak to Cane for Lily, Devon and Abby worry about how rattled Phyllis is, and Cane assures Phyllis he didn’t kill Damian.

Cane and Damian suspected they were being poisoned until a mysterious figure hurled a dagger into Damian.

In the maze, Phyllis walks in on Damian doubled over in Cane’s arms. He has a dagger in his back. They check for a pulse but he’s clearly dead.

She wonders if she should do CPR. He says that won’t help. She suggests he call a doctor and he reminds her they are cut off.

When she backs away, he assumes she thinks he killed Damian.

Pacing, he explains that he didn’t stab him. They were just drinking and talking. That makes no sense to her.

Cane just wanted to make sure he would treat Lily well. They were perfectly civil and then he got woozy.

Phyllis asks if he poisoned the drink. Cane explains he was drinking it too. That’s when the dagger was thrown into Damian’s back.

Phyllis notices Cane isn’t woozy any longer. He says holding a dead man shocks you out of it.

Neither of them saw who could have done this. Whoever threw the dagger, did it from a distance.

She points out he’s the only one who would have wanted Damian dead. He points out that Damian likely wasn’t the intended victim. He takes off to find Chance.
