Debbie Webster (Sue Devaney) was left horrified in tonight’s Coronation Street when Abi Webster (Sally Carman) blurted out the truth about Kevin Webster’s (Michael Le Vell) health.
Kevin was recently caught out for lying about still having testicular cancer, having been given the all clear several weeks ago.
He was diagnosed earlier this year, and underwent surgery and chemotherapy treatment to tackle the cancer.
After learning the cancer was gone, Kevin told his loved ones that he needed more chemo.
He chose to lie to wife Abi in a bid to stop her from leaving him, as he believed his illness was the only thing keeping them together.

However, his lies backfired massively, and Abi made it clear that she would have left him if it wasn’t for Jack Webster (Kyran Bowes) talking her round.
Tonight, Jack told Debbie about the issues at home, and without the full picture, she confronted Abi for leaving her brother in his time of need.
Furious at being lambasted, Abi blurted out the truth – that Kevin had been given the all clear weeks ago.
Horrified, Debbie wasted no time in confronting her brother, and was even more angry to learn that Carl Webster (Jonathan Howard) was also in on the deception.

As Kevin begged for her forgiveness, Debbie revealed that having a terminal illness gave her the perspective to choose what she cared about, and an explanation from him wasn’t included in that.
Viewers will know that Debbie was diagnosed with young-onset dementia earlier this year, and she has been struggling to come to terms with that while also dealing with Kev’s illness.
After emotionally describing how she’d been kept awake most nights worrying about him, she declared that he was no longer her brother before storming away.
