CBS is steadily building excitement for its upcoming Blue Bloods spinoff, Boston Blue, and the latest casting news marks a major milestone in development. With production set to begin later this summer, the network has finalized the ensemble that will join Donnie Wahlberg in this next chapter of the Reagan universe.
The Silver Family Takes Shape
The most recent addition to the cast is Maggie Lawson, who will play Sarah Silver, the Boston Police Superintendent and half-sister of Wahlberg’s new partner, Detective Lena Silver. Sarah is described as sharp, no-nonsense, and fiercely loyal to her city and her family.
