CBS’ hit police drama Blue Bloods — which follows Frank Reagan (Tom Selleck), a New York Police Commissioner, and patriarch of the Reagan clan, a multigenerational family of cops — has given audiences a few thrilling relationships to swoon for over the years, from Jamie and Eddie to Danny and Linda.

And while we love to see those on-screen power couples, we were curious about the real-life significant others of the Blue Bloods cast. So we dove into their private lives and found out that many of their romances are every bit as sweet as Reagan and Janko.

1. Len Cariou and Heather Summerhayes: Blue Bloods couples
Blue Bloods‘ Pop, portrayed by Len Cariou, is a fan-favorite for his wise advice and hilarious jokes. But while the loving grandfather is widowed on the series, Cariou is married to his longtime love, Heather Summerhayes.

Summerhayes is also an actress as well as a producer and author. The couple has been together since they tied the knot on October 25, 1986, nearly 40 years ago.

2. Tom Selleck and Jillie Mack
Although Tom Selleck’s Blue Bloods character, Frank Reagan, is also widowed, the actor is in love in real life. Selleck has been married to wife Jillie Mack since 1987, the couple having met four years earlier. An actress as well, the two met in London while she was performing in the musical Cats.

Selleck shared that his relationship with Mack is as fun-loving as it seems, explaining in an interview that their friendship is what he enjoys most, as well as “Jillie’s sense of humor.”

3. Donnie Wahlberg and Jenny McCarthy: Blue Bloods couples
Donnie Wahlberg, who portrays Danny Reagan on the series, has had an exciting love story off-screen. Although his character’s wife, Linda (Amy Carlson), was killed off in season 7, Wahlberg’s love story is much brighter.The actor tied the knot with actress and model Jenny McCarthy in 2014. The couple is very open about their relationship and often shares photos of their life together. Wahlberg enthused in a birthday post to his wife, “I am so in awe of your energy, your determination and your passion for life! As well as your dedication to those you love.”

McCarthy returned her love for Wahlberg, sharing, “He definitely brings out the best in me, and I think I do the same for him.”

4. Bridget Moynahan and Andrew Frankel

Erin Reagan is known on the show for being a fiercely independent Assistant District Attorney, but in real life Bridget Moynahan has been married to husband Andrew Frankel since 2015.

“He’s the nicest guy ever. Genuine, kind and sensitive…” Moynahan offered of Frankel. “He’s super easy to talk to, so it was like I was going out with somebody I knew for a lifetime.”

5. Vanessa Ray and Landon Beard: Blue Bloods couples
Vanessa Ray, whose character Eddie Janko is a part of one of the best Blue Bloods couples with Jamie Reagan, is in her own loving relationship in real life. Ray married husband Landon Beard in 2015, the couple adopting their son, Isaac, in November 2023.

“We’re just so focused on him right now,” Ray explained. “And just showering him with love and trying to absorb every single moment we can of his littleness; his little life.”

6. Abigail Hawk and Bryan Spies
In Blue Bloods, Baker (Abigail Hawk) is married to Brian Baker, but in real life the actress is married to Bryan Spies. The couple wed in April of 2009 and have been happy and healthy ever since.
